A key part of your role is to monitor trends in Council’s workforce and the general labour force and evaluate any impact on Council’s strategies and plans. (approx. 300 words) Refer to the “Our People” document from Singleton Council. Take note of the number of baby boomers and % of women in the workforce.

Identify five examples of global workforce trends which may prompt you to make workforce planning recommendations.

Identify four sources of information relating to government policy on labour demand and supply.
Specify four factors that may influence labour demand and supply.
Identify five methods which may be used for the evaluation of change processes.
